For this competition the Studio thought about a new way of living for the province Zeeland. Our vision was as follows: using the existing dikes and rural surroundings of the area called ‘De Zak van Zuid-Beveland’ as a location, the houses can be placed freely and have a wide view on the surroundings. The current location functions as a water reservoir, that is why the houses are situated on high poles. In case of high water there is still a possibility to reach the house, using a boat or approaching it from the dike.
